Meet Linh Lam

A JOURNEY OF RESILIENCE & CREATIVITY

Born in Vietnam in 1979, my life has been painted with hues of struggle and determination. My family escaped peril to find refuge in the US in 1981. Raised in challenging circumstances in San Diego, the prospect of survival seemed uncertain. Against the odds, I graduated high school, igniting possibility. Leaving loved ones, a coin toss brought me to Naples, Florida. In 1999, fate reunited me with my steadfast partner Cherylyn. Amidst arduous work, we birthed Beautifaux in 2002 and adorned spaces for luminaries, chronicled by the Naples Daily News. We reached a million-dollar milestone in 2006, only to lose everything in 2008.

I resurrected myself, birthing ventures in sound reduction and dry erase paints. Amidst this, my twin boys arrived, one gripped by cancer – my defining balancing challenge. The 2020 pandemic tested my resilience again with crumbled business and lost homes. Yet my core holds love, compassion and giving. Each fall etched lessons, carving resilience. In January 2023, I birthed “Beyond Color and Design,” a haven for faux artistry. Rising from lost assets, this venture embodies my spirit and creativity. Here, dreams transform into artistry, my ever-evolving masterpiece.
